Choosing the right .tel domain name
- Keep the domain name as short as possible and if possible don't include more than two words.
- Try to include your product, service, profession, industry and / or location.
- Use words easy to understand.
- Spell the domain name correctly.
- Don't use hyphens.
- Don't use numbers.
- Avoid using registered trademarks.
- Don't use internationalized domain names with special characters.
- If your desired domain name is taken, it could be wise to ask the current owner if he is willing to sell it to you for cheap. It's better to spend a few hundred bucks than using an unrecognizable domain name.
